Laura Beckman - Owner/ Director and Kindermusik Maestro
Music has always been the ebb and flow that has made up my life. I have been singing my whole life and continue to use my singing in areas such as church choirs and the praise ministry band in my congregation. I sang my first solo in church at the tender age of 3 and began piano lessons at age 6 and playing flute at age 10. I have enjoyed participating in various choirs and bands throughout my life. I attended Graceland College as a Music Major with an emphasis in voice. I graduated from Graceland College in Lamoni, IA with a B.A. in Music Education, and met my amazing husband, Steve. I earned a Master's Degree in Teaching from St. Mary College. I taught elementary music for several years in Grain Valley, MO and Olathe, KS, and gave flute, piano, and voice lessons for over 12 years.

I became interested in becoming a Kindermusik educator when I began to realize the value of developing the whole child, and being "process oriented" instead of "performance oriented." I love watching the joy children get from simply trying something new in class and feeling that sense of accomplishment. I am proud to be recognized as a Kindermusik Maestro, one of the top 5% of Kindermusik educators worldwide.

Sara Unes - Educator

I graduated from Ottawa University with a B.A. in Psychology. I participated in church choir, show choirs, and muscials throughout high school and college. I held the lead of Maria in The Sound of Music my senior year in high school. I taught preschool for a short time and really enjoyed singing and working with children. I work full time as an Assistant Team Leader at Human Arc but am interested in teaching Kindermusik as a part time job because I want to foster musical and development in young children. I believe this will be a great use of the talents I have been given!

Tali Wilson - Educator

Music has always been a part of my life. I grew up with a love for playing piano and singing. I studied piano from the age of 8 through college. I graduated from Bob Jones University in South Carolina with a B.A. in Music with an emphasis in Piano Pedagogy. While studying pedagogy in South Carolina I was introduced to Kindermusik. As a part of my internship I had the opportunity to observe KM classes for a semester and absolutely fell in love with the program. I then went on to teach for the largest KM program in the upstate of South Carolina. What an amazing experience!
I am originally from the Olathe area and I am thrilled to be back home. I am also thrilled to get back into teaching--it's what I love!
I enjoy playing piano for my church, teaching piano, hiking (when I can get to the mountains!) and spending time with my husband Carey.
